Why McDonald’s Never Has Ice Cream

I’m not a huge fan of Johnny Harris, he’s yet another mid-30s white dude who has a YouTube following for no other reason than he says things on a fancy video. However, this video is actually interesting. He investigates why McDonald’s ice cream machines are always broken. If you’re thinking that the machines are bad and there’s corporate kickbacks involved then you would be correct. It doesn’t make logical sense why McDonald’s would let their ice cream machines be broken all the time. But when you consider that they are basically bilking their franchisees for money to fix machines that are meant to break in order to prop up the manufacturer financially, then all of a sudden these broken machines make sense.
