Most major metro areas, geography permitting, have what is called a “ring road” or beltway around the outside of the city to facilitate traffic flow. Some cities like Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Washington D.C., and others have more than one, a new one being added as the city grew farther out. In this video, we’re are going to learn why these roads are bad, wasteful, and ironic as they literally let you drive in a circle (except in Denver where the beltway isn’t done yet thanks to homeowners in Golden who won’t let them build it). Why do we insist on these roads and driving in a circle? We’ll find out in this video!
