Life in Post US Afghanistan

It’s never easy to take back an old lover, especially when it’s a blood-thirsty conservative regime bent on power and enforcing sharia law. However, this is the unfortunate situation people in Afghanistan have been facing since the American withdrawal in August. In this video, we get a peek into their new lives under the old government. The Taliban managed to hold out for 20 years and thanks to a deal negotiated under Trump and executed by the Biden administration, the US is out, the Taliban are back in power and the lives of the people in Afghanistan are going back to the way they were before the 2001 invasion. Since this video has come out, the Taliban has closed barber shops so that men will be forced to keep their beards (Islamic law) and women are busy shopping for headscarves, abiya, and other coverings. The Taliban promised to be nicer, kinder, and gentler but near as I can tell, that’s a lot of propaganda.
