Sit back, relax, and enjoy the glamour of flying in 1950. This video shows what it was like to fly on one of Boeing’s first truly long-distance airliners. Powered by four piston engines, it was the last of the great piston-engined planes to fly the skies and revolutionized flying. It was a wonderful precursor to the jet age and took the well-heeled and business travelers to new heights at great speed.
