Step Away from the Insta Influencer!

In this great video from the popular personal finance youtube channel, The Financial Diet, she talks about how influencers selling various and sundry products is actually ruining our finances by selling us stuff that we don’t need and often at terrible prices (despite the seemingly great discounts). The reality is that if you want to have secure finances, you’re going to have to listen to fewer Instagram influencers and realize that they are hawking stuff with the pretense of a personal connection and life improvement. I will say that I certainly contribute to the problem with some of the ways in which I sell goods and services to my audience as well. The creator economy is a tough one but you are responsible for your own financial situation.
