Green Energy and Blackouts

I don’t usually post videos from Reason Magazine because I rarely agree with their perspective on anything and their journalism is usually poor. However, when I came across this video about California’s power blackouts this summer I was impressed with the work that they did on the power outage and brought up some great points about the future we face as we move to green energy. I am still a big fan of moving to renewable energy and more companies are bringing on more and more renewable energy. America’s grid is “greening.” This is a good thing. However, this does come with challenges along the way and challenges that do need to be addressed. California is a harbinger of the future. If we are going to continue to move to green energy then we’ll have to address the problems that California faces right now.
