You’ll Never Fly Over the Himalayas

Most people who know me don’t know that I really into aviation. I like watching videos about air disasters, news about airplane orders, and videos of takeoffs and landings. It all started with my Dad who works in aviation and my passion for planes and air travel has only grown up from there. One of the videos I found recently was an aviation fact that I actually did not know. Commercial planes can’t fly over the Himalayas in India. The reasons are simple safety and rescue. The terrain is rugged and so planes are forced to fly around the massive mountain range. I thought this was really interesting and I wanted to share a little more of my passion with everyone.

So from my Journal to yours, here’s why you’ll never fly over the Himalayas in a commercial airplane.
