Is America Breaking Down?

In this segment from Bill Maher he posits that the social order is breaking down and that crime is on the upswing. People are stealing whatever they want, tents abound under every underpass, and car break-ins are becoming far too common. I recently experienced a car breaking myself. There was nothing of note in my car besides a blanket and some clothing to donate. Ironically, he did steal a few copies of my novel. I suppose criminals have great taste in fine literature. Bill Maher posits that we have to improve the country at a basic level.
