It’s Been 25 Years Since the Troubles Ended

In March, just before Easter, President Biden visited Ireland to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday agreement that ended the violence in Northern Ireland between the protestant unionists and catholic nationalists. In this documentary, we see how the Troubles really began, a great history of the IRA, and some great on-the-scene footage of terrorism as it began to explode in the 1960s and 1970s. These historical events have so much more punch when you realize that real people were affected by these things and lived through them.
