I’ve recently updated my series on “The Long Depression” where I argue that to some degree, the crisis of 2008 has never ended and we are in a long depression. In this video, from the investing side of YouTube, Andrei Jikh sort of agrees. There is plenty of economic data to show that while it might seem like the economy is humming right along, the lives of everyday people are not doing well.
This is more than just the new inflation. It’s in things like car payments, housing costs, debt, and reduced consumer demand. I was surprised to see this video because most people don’t take my view on the economy.
In this video, let’s learn more about the “silent depression” (as he puts it) and what it means for the economy moving forward.
