The End of First Class

In this video, we are seeing the final first-class service on American Airlines. AA announced that they would be ditching first class on many routes this year. Over the past few years, we’ve seen many airlines dump first class and especially business class in favor of premium economy. This makes sense on many routes (three seats are better than two!), and it means more people per airplane, per trip. The reality is that first class and business class were expensive and often hard to fill. With many business customers opting for virtual meetings and flying less, airlines are looking to make up the gap in people traveling for pleasure or for personal reasons. In this video, we bid farewell to First Class on AA with this final service.
