Sorry Guys, We Stormed the Capitol with Ben Hamilton

Today on The Cameron Journal Podcast, we are talking with Ben Hamilton, who was in the capitol on January 6, 2021, when Trump supporters decided to enter without express permission during plenary proceedings of Congress to certify the 2020 presidential election. Through his Chasing History Project, we learn about what happened that day and his latest book. This conversation is two hours long but well worth it.

This was always going to be a controversial subject (hence the length), so please do keep an open mind. Ben is far more circumspect about that day than I am either now or at the time. However, it is hard to get on-the-ground reports. He was present for the QAnon Shaman and other incidents that day. His book is rather interesting and goes further into topics that we didn’t manage to cover in our time together. All in all, it is an interesting story and something to bear in mind as we head into another election season.
