Idaho’s Ban on Drag Queens

Drag is a wonderful performance art. That’s the tweet. No, really, that’s all there is to say about this. However, in Idaho, the local officials have decided that if you’re a man who chooses to dress up in feminine-coded clothing on weekends and perform a little show for adults in a bar, that must mean you’re a pedophile. Obviously, this is not so great for the local drag scene in Boise or Twin Falls. Using religion and the name of god as their chiron, these legislators are trying to save their state from the scourge of (checks notes) gay men in dresses.
