We talk a lot of politics around here at The Cameron Journal. This season I wanted to highlight my top 5 politics books for you. Of course, I included my own book, What the Hell Is Going On? And I also picked out some other books.
Immigration has been a hot topic this year. Under the Trump administration, we’ve seen the horrors of his new immigration policies. In The Coyote’s Bicycle, we revisit the topic from the perspective of the immigrants and the challenges they go through to get to the United States. Keeping with the hot topic’s theme, healthcare is the biggest topic in America right now and Patient Care does a great job of explaining how strained out healthcare system is and how it is falling apart due to a variety of factors from insurance companies to doctor burnout.
We round out the selection with a thriller describing the life and times of what we know as the Trump Presidency and a great book about Ralph Temple, a firebrand for civil rights with the ACLU. If you’re wanting to experience some interesting stories and great research around these topics, these are the books to get. The best part? You can get them right here!
