New York

New York is a common option for people to head to when they go to the US, and that’s no surprise. With so much going on, it would be a shame not to experience the hustle and bustle of the New York streets at least once in your lifetime. You can head to Central Park, listening to live musicians and experiencing one of the US’s most iconic places. You could also book in to see a show on Broadway, because even if you’re not a massive music theatre person, it’s an experience that you are never going to forget.

Texas

We’re going to kick things off by looking at Texas. If you’ve always wanted to live out a cowboy fantasy, or you’ve always wanted to meet real life cowboys, then Texas is probably your best bet to do this. While it’s not the only place in the US to have cowboys, it’s certainly the most common making it a fantastic choice.

As well as this, you will also be able to visit some beautiful beaches, hike in some breathtaking parks, and generally have a fantastic time. While it might not always be people’s first choice, it definitely should be.

Arkansas

With its vast natural beauty, Arkansas really is a beautiful place to see. If you want to head out on a hike or gentle stroll then head over to the state park or even the national park. If you are looking for accommodation options then check out motels, hotels, or even RV parks.

Colorado

Lastly, if you love skiing and all things related to winter sport then Colorado is the place for you. Make sure you plan it for the best winter sport weather as you don’t want to go when the ice and snow are melting. Aspen is one of the best resorts you can visit and it has everything you need, they can even supply equipment if you don’t want to bring your own.

We hope you found this helpful and it gave you some ideas on where to visit when you are in the USA. Remember, there is more to the USA than the typical touristy attractions. Take your time and see the unusual sights, but do your research before you go.
