Most likely the world’s oldest working model, Carmen D’Orifice began working again after she lost her entire fortune to the Bernie Madoff scandal. I read a great deal about her life and how she took care of her working class mother by modeling and working for years. She never was able to start her own fashion brand because she was paying for two rents in NYC and had to keep working. She is defiant, amazing, and managed to bounce back and be stunning well into her 80s. In this video, we hear her story.
