Dear Readership,
You might have noticed that there wasn’t a newsletter or a newshour last week and that I’m writing you on a Monday. There is a reason for that.
For 12 years, I have poured my life into The Cameron Journal. We’ve published over 3,100 posts, launched podcasts and recorded 350 episodes, rising to the top 10% globally, we’ve built a community, and explored the world together. It has been the privilege of a lifetime to build this from the ground up.
But every great story has a final chapter, and we have reached ours.
After much reflection, I have realized it is time for me to evolve. I am transitioning out of the indie media space to step into my next chapter as a corporate executive. Because of this, standard editorial content and the Newshour will be coming to a close. (The podcast will continue to release its remaining recorded episodes over the next few weeks). Here on cameronjournal.com we’ll be spinning out the last round of content over the next couple of weeks, you’ll be seeing it in your inbox in lieu of the newsletter.
I am not just fading to black, though. I am doing one last major event, and I want you all there with me.
On July 17-18, I will be hosting and speaking at the SOOPMedia “What is Truth?” Summit with Joe Atman and some of your favorite SOOPMedia folks. Details on this event will follow, but tickets will start at $25. This speech will serve as my capstone – my final major address of this era. Over the next two months, this newsletter will focus entirely on the ideas we will explore at the Summit. I want to go out with a bang, surrounded by the people who have supported my work for over a decade.
I don’t know what the next chapter holds entirely, but I am ready to meet the world in a new way.
Thank you for coming on this journey with me.
See you out there!
