George Carlin Caused the Downfall of Western Civilization

I found this random video recently, and I was intrigued by the title. I’m a huge fan of George Carlin, and I wrote an article in a previous publication about the summer I watched every one of his specials in order on HBO. So I was very interested in seeing why this person thinks that Carlin is an agent of entropy. I did not anticipate that it would become a whole “downfall of the West” experience. However, this idea is interesting to analyze because George Carlin was a disruptive force in comedy. He was a big fan of “the system falling down,” which definitely matches up with the zeitgeist of his time and his life. I’ve long said that he died at the right time in 2008 because modern culture would have him climbing up the walls. Videos of his performances regularly make the rounds on social media due to their prophetic nature. The question we have before us in this video is simple, was Carlin a prophet or a symptom of the degradation of our civilization? I’ll let you decide.
