Jackie O’s NYC Apartment

When I was young, I wanted to be an interior designer. My plan was to move to New York City and get some sort of job and learn how to be an interior designer. Life had other plans but I still love taking home tours and looking at well designed interiors. This video is a visual feast of colors, textures, and spaces. Similar to my post about Betsy Bloomingdale, the apartment has been preserved and it seems like Jackie has simply stepped out for a moment and will be back to host guests at any time. The space has been lovingly kept up and it appears as she left it after her death in 1991.

This is a magical video. I would watch it twice to take it all in. It is a paradise. I could move right on with only my clothes and live in this masterpiece of decor.
