How Your Interview Will Go
The podcast is about 45-60 minutes unless otherwise discussed.
The Cameron Journal Podcast is both audio and video, so please be prepared for that.
At the beginning, we will do a short equipment test at the start of the Zoom meeting to make sure everyone can be seen and heard. The host may ask how to pronounce your name.
After the recording begins, Cameron will do a brief introduction about you. Then he will start the conversation.
Guests are invited to plug their book/product and social media at the end of the show. The host will cue you in with a question about where to find you online and where to buy your product or service.
At the show’s end, the host will stop the recording before the meeting ends. This gives us a chance to have a quick goodbye!
Tips for a Successful Appearance
- Please arrive on time
- Please be mindful of what you want to talk about publicly (Please don’t release any confidential or NDA protected information)
- Please email any materials that will help Cameron prepare ahead of your appearance (email [at] cameronjournal.com)
- Please have plenty of light around you and your camera
- Please be in a clear space with a background you’ll be happy with

What if I don’t like my interview?
Sometimes, although rarely, an interviewee does not like their interview. In light of some of these incidences coming up, there will be a $100 “take down charge” for those who want to remove their appearance on The Cameron Journal Podcast. This is not punitive, it is in keeping with the amount of time and effort it takes to produce every episode of this show and the automated marketing that takes place as the peisodes are released.
Can I get my interview file?
If you would like a copy of your interview file (post-edit, as it will appear online). You may request it. There is a fee of $25 for the file and you can pay for that by using this link.
