One of the most interesting things about Mayor Pete is that of all the complaints many democrats have about him, like his dealings with race relations or his police shooting scandal in South Bend, his sexuality has been curiously silent. Trump hasn’t even brought it up and the religious right has also been fairly silent. However, recently, at a Sevier County Commissioner meeting in Tennessee, one brave commissioner used his platform to remind us that America is indeed falling apart because a homosexual is running for President. Nevermind that this homosexual in question is married in a long-term monogamous relationship and a veteran of America’s longest wars. As gay men go, Mayor Pete is practically straight. It is these times that we need truly funny people to guide us through the ignorance and stupidity that often abounds. That’s where Trae Crowder comes in.
